Our vision is for development and reform of teaching and learning in the public primary school in Hile Nigale; the studying of Nepali and Sherpa language and culture; the improvement of life skills, and the strengthening of self esteem. We aim to reduce the school dropout rate, particularly for girls, and support further education for secondary school and further education. As many Nepalis go abroad to the Gulf States due to the lack of education and work, we support scenarios of staying in the country and keeping the Sherpa culture alive. In addition to the school, a monastry including a community centeris being built to keep the Sherpa culture and Buddhism alive.
